Overview
Currently the third generation of the Duftner family preside over and manage this uber popular luxury 4 star hotel. It is situated in the heart of the charming Austrian ski village of Alpbach and is close to the nursery slopes and also the free bus service that accesses the main ski area. This charming hotel dates back to the 15th Century and is steeped with tradition. Guests can also enjoy wine tasting in the cellar, a weekly fondue night and torch lit walks in the evenings.
Staff are attentive and helpful which adds to the wonderful ambience, and the fabulous wellness area including a heated outdoor pool is perfect after a day on the slopes.
The Bogerlof has been popular with the British family market for many years. There is, as a result, quite a relaxed and informal feel to the hotel. Guests tend to mingle and the large bar and lounge area is a social place to be, especially during the peak holiday weeks.
