Chalet Caribou 1

" We had a great time thanks, we were the only ones in the chalet, so we had a room each and it was in the perfect location in town between the Pleney and the Super Morzine. It was a nice chalet, clean when we arrived and the host was a good cook. However, a few little things - we didn't get a cheeseboard on one night which it says on the website; we never saw a chalet manager or a rep; our chalet girl didn't really clean the chalet all week while we were there, and I think the breakfasts could have been a bit better. There was just bread, cereal or very basic hot option - no croissants which was a bit disappointing as even Crystal, Ski Total/Inghams, Alpine Elements and the like even serve croissants! But it was a great deal for the price we paid so we weren't too bothered. I don't know if you've been to Morzine but I wasn't a huge fan ... there isn't a big après scene and there are SO many flat blues so a lot of polling, not good for boarders at all! It also gets very busy at weekends as the French come up for the weekend! We were super lucky though as they didn't have a day where the lifts shut that week, unlike Tignes and La Plagne etc. We had to stick to Les Gets and didn't do much of the Avoriaz side as it was too windy and a white-out up that side but found some great off piste in Morzine and Les Gets and the transfer was dreamy being so short! I would stay with this company again as they were good especially for the price but having worked in so many chalets myself I do notice those things I mentioned above when they aren't done! All in all it was good, and the snow was insane but I don't think I'm completely sold on Morzine itself sadly! "
