Chalet Bizet

Chalet Bizet, in the traditional village of Montriond, is the smaller of two properties converted from an old farmhouse. This 200-year-old building has been meticulously renovated by its current owners to an exceptionally high standard and uses the fine local materials blended with a modern decor style.

Chalet Bizet is a high-quality combination of elegance and comfort. It brims with traditional alpine charm but is undeniably sophisticated. From its original beams and restored wooden floors to bespoke sofas and couture interior design, you will feel at home the minute you walk through the door.

The ground floor offers a stunning and impressive open-plan living space. A statement fireplace built into the partition between the kitchen and the living area is just one of many luxurious touches. Original architectural features are married with velvet Parisian furniture providing a stylish combination of old and new. The large French windows span the south-facing wall allowing fantastic mountain views and lots of light.

There are three guest bedrooms, two of which offer extra children's beds allowing the chalet to sleep up to 9 as a maximum.

Preparing and serving delicious food is not seen as a task but as a pleasure. Breakfasts for example are wholesome as well as tasty and include croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh baguettes, museli, fruit, cereal, yoghurts as well as tea/coffee and fruit juice or smoothies. Hot options are also provided, such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Dinner is a highlight of your stay at Chalet Debussy. Pre-dinner canapes such as garlic prawns are served with a cocktail and your taster menu is as imaginative as it is delicious. Tartiflette tatin with reblochon ice-cream (don't knock till you have tried it) and prosciutto shard anyone? Pomegranate glazed duck breast with creamy polenta and spinach; followed by blackberry, apple and spiced pear hazelnut pavlova with sweet chestnut cream - you get the idea.

The chalet is located in the charming village of Montriond which is a 10-minute drive from the Ardent ski lift-from which you can explore the entire Portes du Soleil ski region. The centre of Morzine resort is also a 10-minute drive away.
