Chalet Haus Hochkar

Chalet Haus Hochkar in St Anton is quite unique. Due to the way St Anton as a resort is laid out there are very few chalets where you have the benefit of being able to ski from the door. The chalet Haus Hochkar is different because you can which is quite special in this resort. All you need to do is open the door, put on your skis and glide down the snow to the lifts, nursery slopes, ski school and kids kindergarten. If you are going to travel 800 miles to the Alps, you might as well travel a little further and stay by the slopes.

Haus Hochkar and Gamskar have been carefully engineered and ruthlessly tailored to gratify the contemporary skier. No Alpine kitsch here, just straight-lines, comfort and space. Spacious bedrooms, smart contemporary bathrooms (with heated walls behind the towel rails which is clever), an outsized living area and buckets of hot water.

The well know Tom Dooley's Bar is just around the corner, it is too far to be concerned about noise but close enough so you can pop in easily for a quick drink. The rest of the bars and restaurants in Nasserein are a quick slide down the hill or a 250m walk away. If you want to access the centre of St Anton then it would be a ten minute walk.
