Chalet Gretl

Chalet Gretl in Serfaus has a central but very peaceful location. The chalet is one bus stop away from the main lifts and the bus stops right around the corner.

Gretl offers multiple spacious and comfortable apartments, all have two bedrooms and at least two bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen for individual use. You get the best of both worlds with a private apartment and chalet catering. All apartments take full advantage of the great Serfaus mountain scape. The chalet also has a common living and dining area on the ground floor, shared by all guests.

Serfaus is car-free, making it a very relaxed resort, you will not need your car during your holiday and the extensive parking facilities are at the beginning of the village.

NB: This chalet is operated by a Dutch tour operator, who have been in the catered ski chalet business since 1977, operating 37 ski chalets in France, Austria and Italy.

The main difference between a 'normal' British-run chalet, which you will be familiar with, and the Dutch product is that afternoon tea and cakes are not included. However, house wine, beers, soft drinks, and tea and coffee are available and are included in the cost of your holiday.

Breakfasts will be continental in style with cheese, hams and bread, yogurt and fruit juices, tea and coffee.

Below are examples of typical evening dinners:

Starter: Basil bruschetta with fresh tomato and mozzarella.
Main: Meat loaf with roasted onions, mushrooms and tomatoes, pomme gratin, salad with red onion, cucumber, feta and olives.
Pud: Poached pears with chocolate mousse.

Or

Starter: Giant mushrooms stuffed with bacon and bleu 'dAuvergne served with a warm 'Morzinoise' roll.
Main: Braised cod with a mustard cream sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted winter vegetables.
Pud: Warm pear apple crumb pie with ice cream.

Afternoon tea and cakes are not included in the cost of the holiday. If you would like to have afternoon tea and cakes you can pay a small supplement. Please call for details.
