    New Generation is a British run ski and snowboard school based in Val Thorens as well as 17 other resorts across the Alps. New Generation enjoys an excellent reputation amongst the International ski community and was voted 'Favourite Ski School' in the Snowvole Awards. The hand-picked team of fully qualified instructors is led by Anthony Swallow, a well-respected British qualified coach. The school offers a full range of lessons from groups for beginners and intermediates through to guided off piste adventures and everything in between. At peak periods they run children's lessons in the morning with small groups and a focus on fun. New Gen have been coaching in the Alps since 1998 and have been very much at the forefront of the ski lesson revolution. All lessons are in English and all groups are small. New Gen have put the fun back into learning and improving. Our advice is to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

    Prosneige was established in 1996 by Julie Pomagalski and is now directed by Claire Jurine-Gastaud, both are very high level snowboard competitors. Their wish is to create a different method of teaching with small groups using instructors who speak multiple languages to guarantee the quality of all ski lessons. Their concept at Prosneige is based on simple fundamentals of client service, deeply valued relationships and always advancing together with their clients. They set the bar high by continually evaluating their organization to guarantee those once in a lifetime experiences. Their strength is a personalized service and constantly improving their know-how. All their instructors and technical experts are eager to teach you what they are most passionate about. The main Prosneige booking office is based in Albertville with all booking and administrative staff working year around. Prosneige is present in 3 resorts: in Val Thorens with 60 permanent instructors and two shops specialised in boots fitting; in Les Menuires with 20 permanent ski instructors and a shop, and in Meribel with 20 permanent ski instructors and a shop. Prosneige Val Thorens is a ski school that offers private and group lessons, starting from 5 years old and ranging from beginner to expert level. The Prosneige shops seamlessly combines sports and technical support for their customers thanks to the shared know-how and expertise of their boot-fitters and ski instructors. The Prosneige office goes the extra mile by proposing activities such as paragliding, a culinary outing in an igloo, dog-sledding, etc.
