" The Hotel Alex was outstanding. The staff, cleanliness of the hotel, quality of food, location and facilities were all excellent. You could not fault any part of this hotel in any respect! Only comment was we did not know we could have been collected from the train station with our luggage so we walked, but we got a lift back. It would have been lovely to have a hotel taxi service to the ski hire in the mornings and back in the evenings as one of the party was recovering from an operation but this would have been the icing on the cake rather than a complaint! Unfortunately the weather was not great so the link to Italy was closed except for half a day and the glacier skiing was also shut most of the week. However, there was plenty of other skiing to explore with a variety of ways to get up the mountain. The restaurants on piste were amazing and no fault could be made. Many thanks for making the whole booking process painless and enjoyable. We had contact with Earl and Sophia, so special thanks to them! Let's hope we can book with you again for next year... "

" The staff at the hotel were amazing. They could not do enough to please us. The facilities are like a 5 star and the location is great. There is something for everyone here and the food is to die for - far too much really - completely over indulged. The hotel is expensive but I think that would be the same wherever you are in Zermatt. Zermatt as a resort was outstanding - this town has everything you want and more. It's completely picturesque and has the most amazing backdrop of the Matterhorn. There is skiing for all and so much to explore. The link to Italy is being upgraded so will be even better next time! "
