Hotel Castell

The Hotel Castell is actually situated in Zuoz, a ten minute drive from St Moritz. So why are we featuring Zuoz? The answer is actually the Hotel Castell. Entirely gutted and rebuilt for winter 2004/5 this concept hotel is inspired by the charm of the past but now has state of the art bedrooms, a new lobby and lounge, and to top things off a 250 square metre spa area. The restaurant provides gourmet food as well as lighter snacks in the bar / lounge area. The hotel has purposely tried to encourage both individuals and families to try this new experience. They have designed family rooms, kindergarten, play room and even a small ice rink. For those who want to ski in St Moritz there is a free shuttle from the hotel, however, the local hill has a couple of lifts and is perfect for young children and beginners.
