Overview
The Bellevue - Terminus in Engelberg is ideally located directly across from the train station in the centre of the resort. This beautiful Belle Epoque hotel first opened in 1898 and today offers a contemporary design having been renovated in 2011 and again in 2017.
73 Rooms and Junior Suites in both the Southern and Northern wings were fully renovated during the Summer of 2011 and Summer of 2017. The interiors combine cosiness, lifestyle, and design. The result is impressive, with expressive colours of blue, green, gold and purple on each of the floors. Details like finely decorated lamp shades and trimmings on the ceiling and modern bathrooms make the rooms memorable. An interplay of history and presence makes this a fascinating place to stay as well a very popular hotel with our clients.
The breakfasts are both delicious and ample and taken in a lovely old style room with high ceilings and decorations to match.
Creative international cuisine is served in the restaurant, and the various bars in the hotel invite you to unwind after a rewarding day on the mountain. The Yucatan bar & restaurant, part of the hotel, offers some of the liveliest après ski in the resort and is open until late.
The main cable car taking you to the Titlus mountain is a very short bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. The centre of the resort is a very short walk away.
Lift tickets for the cable cars are sold at the reception of the Hotel Bellevue Terminus.
This is a cool place to stay for a long weekend or longer and comes highly recommended.
