As soon as you enter the D V Chalet Boutique Hotel & Spa in Madonna di Campiglio you know you have found something special. Guests can expect warm hospitality, attention to the minutest detail and where it very quickly becomes clear that everything centres around them.
The hotel is a perfect marriage between old traditions and modern styles, where 30 bedrooms, some with fireplace, are set in calming natural colours and offer a special and soft hospitality. Each bedroom is different from the other and has been decorated using high quality fabrics and reflect themes such as seasons and mythology. Starting from the 2025-26 winter season this hotel is only available to adults. Guests have two fine dining options to choose from (on reservation): the Bistrot restaurant (a la carte menu) or the Michelin starred Restaurant Dolomieu (with its tasting menu and a la carte menu).
The reception area is rather unusual and escapes the stereotype of a hotel. The lounge with its large fireplace creates a very welcoming area where you can sit and relax amongst warm blankets to chat, read a book, sip a Marzemino or a cup of tea. The 'Stube da Tiz' is a warm nest of antique Trentino pine, where you can meet with interesting people or you can let yourself be tempted by our delicious mountain dishes. In the starred restaurant 'Deodat de Dolomieu' the fireplace is lit first thing in the morning and our guests are welcomed by the warm glow of the fire - guest choose either the Tasting Menu or eat a la carte. The main Bistro Restaurant is very popular amongst locals so booking a table is essential. Guests dine here on an a la carte basis.
Hotel guests have free use of the Spa Panta Rei. Here you will find the 'flow' pool and hydro massage; Finnish sauna and a herbal Turkish bath; ice waterfall; hot and cold showers with colour therapy; salt cave with Himalayan salt on the walls; saline waterfall, and salty water atomizers. The cave is also equipped with water beds, colour and music therapy. In the Beauty Centre you will be able to let yourself be cuddled by expert hands and to choose the most effective treatments made of both Thalasso products and phyto elements.
The hotel underwent extensive developement in 2025 and is now a 5 star (adults only) hotel.
In our opinion this is the best hotel in the resort. Modern in style, yet traditional in spirit. The food is out of this world so half board is recommended, but don't expect to return home the same weight.
