Hotel Waldheim

For those that like ski convenience the Hotel Waldheim in Sexten is hard to beat. The hotel is located less than 100 metres from the new Helmjet gondola station where you start and finish your ski day. The nursery slopes and cross-country skiing trails are also just a stone's throw away. In addition, the ski hire shop and ski school meeting point is also on your doorstep.

The Hotel Waldheim features a variety of guest bedrooms some of which are carpeted and some with warm wood flooring. All the rooms have amazing mountain views with wooden furniture, a bathroom with shower and TV.

Breakfast in the mornings consists of a buffet offering a variety of both sweet and savoury dishes as well as eggs and omelettes. The Waldheim's a la carte restaurant serves South Tyrolean cuisine with matching regional wines. The overall standard of food for a 3 star hotel is impressive.

There is also a separate bar, small lounge, a wellness area with a sauna and hot tub, and a ski & boot room.

The small village of Sexten is only a short walk away and the larger town of San Candido is a 15 minute bus ride from the hotel.
