Hotel Leitlhof

Naturhotel Leitlhof is a carbon-neutral, 4-star superior hotel in the Drei Zinnen ski area of the Italian Dolomites. The hotel is located just above the lovely town of San Candido.

This standout hotel offers mouth-watering cuisine, a multi-level spa, comfortable rooms, and panoramic views of San Candido backed by the craggy Sexten Dolomites.

Naturhotel Leitlhof offers a number of different room types which all fall between traditional Tyrolean and subtle alpine luxury. All the rooms feature warm wood, natural light, and a neutral colour palette.

What really differentiates this hotel from most in the area is the spa and cuisine on offer. The spa is massive (2,000sqm) and comprises a multi-level indoor and outdoor area, including a heated, panoramic pool, overlooking the striking Mount Baranci/Haunold (2,966m). The lower level is a sauna sanctuary with a steam sauna, salt bath sauna, an herbal sauna, a Finnish sauna, a plunge pool, and a whirlpool. Additionally, there are two outdoor saunas. The middle level is dedicated to an indoor pool and relaxation area, and the upper level is home to a fitness room and a quiet, adults-only relaxation area full of loungers and waterbeds. It extends outdoors to the crescent-shaped balcony, facing the local Sexten mountain peaks.

The hotel kitchen strives to use regional ingredients as much as possible. Vegetables and herbs are sourced from the hotel's very own organic farm, Muhlhof, located only a few minutes away from the property. They also raise their own Aberdeen Angus beef cattle on their farm and their meat is exclusively served at the hotel. The quality of food is superb and the portions generous.

In the afternoons between 3-5pm you can enjoy a Marende (traditional South Tyrolean late afternoon meal of sweet and savory snacks) is available in the bar-lounge area.

To get to the town of San Candido as well as the lifts the hotel provides an efficient shuttle service.
