Hotel La Rouja

The Hotel La Rouja was recently completely refurbished and as you can see from the photos the owners have used plenty of local wood and traditional materials. The end result is a charming boutique style hotel with a family friendly atmosphere.

The entrance level is a reception area leading to the cosy dining room. The food is superb and is based on local traditional fare. In the basement is a large lounge/bar area with wood burning stove and comfy seating to relax in.

The La Rouja only has 13 rooms which all vary in size and aspect. Most rooms have a hydro-massage shower whilst the two largest suites have baths. Some rooms also have their own small steam facility built in to the shower cubicle.

9 Twin/Doubles - 3 will accommodate and extra bed. 2 rooms inter-connecting
2 Superior rooms will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.
2 Junior Suites
There are no single rooms but twin or double rooms can be occupied by one person at a supplement.

We like this hotel for its convenient location in the heart of Champoluc yet only 200 metres from the main lift and home run. The owners are charming and the rooms warm and comfortable.
