Overview
La Pigna is a family run hotel, tastefully decorated and made almost entirely of wood. The hotel is in the heart of the mountains and at the foot of the pistes in Melezet, a small village 2 km from Bardonecchia.
All room have a private bathroom, satellite TV, a fridge\bar, a telephone and ADSL broadband connection. In the TV room there is a 55 inch smart TV screen and a multi-media entertainment centre. The hotel also has a Jacuzzi and sauna. Guests have the use of personal lockers in the ski room, with plenty of space for skis and snowboards. There is also a heated boot warmer.
Although the hotel is right by the lift and slopes in Melezet, we would recommend having a car as this would give you the flexibility for going to the other ski areas and the historical town of Bardonecchia at your leisure.
This is where the trendy snowboarders of Bardonecchia hang out. Simple friendly accommodation with excellent home cooked food prepared daily by the hotel owners.
