Overview
The Le Thorens Hotel was one of the original properties to be built back in the 1970's. As such it has one of the best locations in the centre of resort and overlooking the nursery slopes and main lifts. The whole hotel has recently had a head to toe renovation but it is all good news - the old much-loved terrace with its amazing views very much remains.
The interior keeps up the same energy that the original hotel had. There is the busy lobby, the brasserie with its multiple culinary influences and the lively bar - the atmosphere exudes a fun spirit. However, the bedrooms, spa and pool all provide every comfort and spaces in which to relax.
For dining there are two options. On the one hand La Fondue serves Savoyard classics. On the other La Brasserie offers tasty lunchtime dishes followed by bistro favourites in the evening. Or why not check out the Bar 1971? It's the new public night-time venue in Val Thorens.
The bedrooms are all well-appointed although not massive with lovely modern bathrooms and all the usual mod cons; Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, safe and balcony.
Modern hotel with a ski in ski out location.
