Overview
For those that know Val d'Isere this new five star hotel is a total remodelling of the Grand Paradis Hotel, one of the oldest and best positioned hotels in the resort. The hotel is situated in the heart of the resort and at the foot of the slopes in Val d'Isere. The main lifts are just a short ski away.
Yule is an old word derived from northern European and Scandinavian German speaking people and is now associated with Christmas and Christmas related festivities. The new Le Yule hotel has a distinctly Scandinavian atmosphere and decor. The 41 rooms range from the standard category with 18 square metres of space to the family suite of 60 square metres. Most of the rooms are south facing with views across the pistes.
The Brasserie 'Le Solstice' serves lunch and dinner. During the day, if the weather is good, you can eat outside on the terrace and in the evening diners can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the open fireplace. The lounge bar is intimate and private and serves cocktails and hot drinks.
The Yule could not be better located. The rooms are all modern and the spa and communal areas are no different....new and modern. Not cheap but certainly luxurious.
