Hotel Taj - I Mah

The Hotel Taj-I Mah is the first 5 star hotel built in Les Arcs. Situated at the foot of the home pistes in Arc 2000, at the top of the Le Cabriolet ski lift the ski convenience cannot be bettered. This luxury hotel is the perfect hotel for a family ski holiday - the resort of Arc 2000 is pedestrian only and at an altitude of 2,000m is as snow-sure as you can get.

The modern decor and achitectural style has followed the brief from the owners to make maximum use of the clear, mountain light and scenery. Large windows on all levels allow brilliant sunlight to flood the hotel. The hotel offers 48 luxury bedrooms (24-29 square metres) and suites (45-70 square metres) with spacious balcony and bathrooms with bath and shower (except Duo and Club rooms which offer shower only). All rooms have flat screen TV, mini-bar, Nespresso machine, hairdryer and private safe. There are also interconnecting family rooms which can either be two connecting Club or Superior rooms.

The Hotel offers two restaurants, one offering a la carte fine dining inspired by the sea and the mountains. The other restaurant is more relaxed and serves more local dishes with a wood fire creating a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel has a very comfortable lounge bar with live music and open fireplace creating a relaxed atmosphere. And the south facing sun terrace will be a must in March and April when the warmer weather will allow guests to sit outside and admire the fine views of the surrounding mountains and pistes.

Complimentary services include a reception desk which is open 24/7, turndown service, Wi-Fi internet connection in all guest rooms and Nespresso coffee machines in all rooms. There is also a ski shop on site with winter equipment, a south facing terrace with sun beds and of course ski in ski out access to the slopes.

The Taj-i Mah is very child and family orientated. The 'Baby Pack' in parents' rooms is for infants under 3 years old and includes: baby cot, baby sleeping bag, baby bath, bath thermometer, change mat and bottle warmer. There are pushchairs available at reception and the kitchens can prepare food in order to make the best baby meals.

For children aged 3 - 12 years there is a dedicated child's menu and drinks from the bar. There is also a games room that is free to use with parents' vigilance, childcare can be arranged and even special child friendly massage treatments can be arranged.
