Overview
Chalet Matsuzaka is a private, small luxury chalet, inspired during the owners' stay in Japan. After visiting the Japanese ski resorts, they became enamoured with the way in which the Japanese chalets and inns are run, as well as the exquisite touches making après-ski just that extra bit more special.
Chalet Matsuzaka (pine tree slope) is run as a Japanese inn with a calm and zen atmosphere. Guests are kindly asked to remove outdoor shoes before entering the chalet (slippers are provided) and bathrobes are available in all rooms in order to take the spa. In line with new regulations the owners also operate a no smoking policy (smoking is permitted on balconies and terraces provided care and caution is taken).

Chalet Matsuzaka is located approximately 200 metres from the nearest ski slope and the new high-speed chair-lift in the Les Eucherts area of La Rosiere 1850. Skiing back to the chalet is possible from the Papillon piste. La Rosiere 1850 centre is a short 10 minute walk through the forest or a 5 minute hop in the free shuttle bus.
Guests also benefit from a 9 seater Landrover Defender. The chalet managers would be pleased to discuss any special requirements you should have regarding access in and around the resort area. Please contact us for more information.
