Overview
At the heart of Courchevel and at the foot of the slopes stand two white wooden chalet buildings, together these create the world famous, Le Chabichou Hotel. This family owned hotel offers a warm welcome and personalised service to all guests, many of whom return year after year. Charming bedrooms and refined elegant suites, some of which are perfect for larger family groups.
The food at the Chabichou has always been a delight. For many years the main restaurant has successfully retained its 2 Michelin star status, one of only two in Courchevel 1850. The executive chefs, Michel Rochedy and Stephane Buron continue to guide the Restaurant Chabichou from strength to strength.
The Bistro restaurant which opened last year and situated next to the new spa and wellness centre offers great food in an informal atmosphere. There is daily live music in the bar.
Guests book into the Le Chabichou on a B&B basis and then eat either a la carte at the main restaurant or at the new Bistro.
The Chabichou has always been about the food and although the hotel has had a recent makeover the fine cuisine still remains its strongest selling point. The location, hospitality, rooms and spa facilities are not to be ignored, however.
