Hotel Daria - I Nor

The Daria-I Nor (Sea of Light) is Hotel Lodge and Spa Collection's latest addition to their luxurious group of hotels. The hotel is named after the pink diamond, Daria-I Noor, and it is clear to see why. Located at an altitude of 1,860m in the Grandes Rousses Massif, Alpe d'Huez offers panoramic views from the Massif Central across to Italy, as well as the jaw-dropping National Park des Ecrins.

This five-star hotel provides very easy access to the 250km of piste within the Grand Domaine ski area. It is ideally located in the Eclose area (10 minutes' walk from the resort centre) with direct access to the Eclose ski lift (20 metres from the hotel's door). You will feel truly spoilt by the luxurious facilities and attentive staff.

Whether you're with family, a loved one or with friends, the hotel has various combinations of rooms, accommodating from 2 to 6 people. Each room has a private balcony, allowing you to make the most of the resort's breath taking views.

There are two main restaurants. La Table du Daria opens out onto the terrace and serves half board guests. L'Amethyste offers a more sophisticated and intimate dining experience under the control of head chef, Stephane Tarabla. Guests eating here also have access to the extensive wine cellar collection.
