Chalet Carmen

Chalet Carmen in Zermatt is a rare find, being one of only a handful of chalets in the resort which is genuinely located near to a lift. This is a very charming duplex attic apartment, perched on a hilltop and accessed via a very convenient tunnel lift which is just 200 metres away from the Matterhorn Express base station and resort ski run. This is about as close as Zermatt gets to offering ski-in ski-out convenience. Just five minutes away is the church square with its boutiques and restaurants in the other direction. The apartment has 150 square metres of living space.

This comfortable duplex attic chalet apartment offers 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (two en-suite, one with Jacuzzi bath), a high ceilinged living room with wood fire, an open plan kitchen with dining and bar area, a mezzanine floor with a second living area, and sunny south and east facing balconies with plunging views to the river. With its sloping wooden ceilings and extensive panelling, the chalet offers plenty of character. Three of the bedrooms have beds which can be made up as doubles or twins, while the mezzanine has a sofa-bed for larger groups. Chalet Carmen envelops her guests in a lovely authentic alpine charm!

There is also the addition of a shared wellness area with a sauna and steam room, perfect for easing those end of day aches and pains.
