Chalet La Bergere

Chalet La Bergere in the picturesque mountain village of Ayer was lovingly restored by the property's owners and managers in 2022. John and Emily met when they worked a winter season in this charming region of Switzerland and are delighted to welcome guests to their chalet. The winter skiing is superb with many of the surrounding peaks rising well above 3,000 metres in altitude and the region offers some spectacular walking, hiking and mountain bike trails in the summer.

You can either book by the room or take the chalet for exclusive use. The prices we show are based on exclusive use of the property on a catered basic. However, if you would like to book by the room, or on a bed and breakfast basis do contact us for details. John and Emily are flexible and can even accommodate short stays of less than 7 nights.

The village of Ayer is an ideal base from which to access the main resorts of Grimentz, Zinal and St Luc, all of which are less than 15 minutes' drive away. The free bus also conveniently stops just opposite the chalet.
