Chalet Campiglio Doss

Chalet Campiglio Doss near Madonna di Campiglio is a recent renovation project of a 16th Century traditional farm building, which has maintained the character of the property, yet combining environmentally friendly technologies which use sustainable resources for its needs.

The focal point of the chalet is the large open fire fireplace in the lounge, where guests can enjoy endless relaxing evenings. There are eight main guest bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities and a further children's room all spread across three floors - the chalet has space in abundance. Two of the bedrooms have extra bunk beds for children, and a further two can take an extra single bed. The property sleeps 16 adults in eight en-suite bedrooms and up to 6 extra children in bunk beds.

The kitchen has also undergone full renovation and now includes all modern appliances (such as professional dishwasher and fridge, and induction range cooker), yet preserving the traditional style of the chalet. The property's eco credentials are first rate with an ecological water treatment system as well as recycling and heating system. The locally sourced toiletries have been particularly carefully selected as offering the best blend of quality as well as eco-friendliness.

The owners of Chalet doss, Jim and Veronica, are a British-Italian family with strong roots to the area. Veronica's brother, Andreas, with his cool mountain charm and attention to detail, is on hand to organise every moment of your holiday. Ski / snowboard equipment can all be pre-ordered, along with passes. Restaurants can be booked (there are many to choose from) and any medical problems assisted with. Andreas is on hand to offer a local's insight to the best bars, rifugios, slopes and all the myriad experiences that have come from a lifetime's experience of living in, and around, the incredible skiing of Madonna di Campiglio.

The Chalet Campiglio Doss is a 7 minute drive from the resort of Madonna di Campiglio and the main lifts.

There are also several mountain 'refuge' restaurants and these are ideal during the day when out skiing. Some of them also offer dinner with a snow-cat experience for transportation which is something we highly recommend as a memorable experience.
