On a powder day the skiing above Le Fornet offers some of the best off-piste terrain in the Alps and you will want to be first up the lift in the morning. The centre of Val d'Isere is not far away thanks to the free resort shuttle bus which runs every 5 minutes on the Le Fornet - Val d'Isere centre - La Daille route.
