Chalet Inuit

The Chalet Inuit located in the private estate of Petit Alaska, Val d'Isere, sits at the edge of a peaceful forest overlooking the resort. The chalet is a short 5-6-minute drive from the Solaise Express gondola lift and we recommend taking full advantage of the shuttle service provided. It is also a 3-4-minute drive from the town centre. Val d'Isere is perfect for groups of mixed abilities as there's something for everyone, from beginners to advanced skiers, it's famous for a reason. When staying in such a lively town with a fantastic atmosphere it's worth taking a break from the skis and heading to the vast selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques. Val d'Isere is also known for its alpine charm and picturesque scenery.

The Chalet Inuit is situated on the scenic Chemin du Petit Alaska, a quiet part of town, set up on the hillside with stunning views over the centre of Val d'Isere. The narrow mountain road leading to Chalet Inuit can be tricky to climb or drive up and with limited lighting it is not best suited for people with pushchairs or mobility issues.

Chalet Inuit is a 5 bedroom property which can sleep up to 12 guests. It fuses traditional chalet elements such as wooden panelling with modern design. On the first floor you will find the entrance, which is beside a ski and boot room so you can conveniently grab your boots and skis as you leave for your day on the slopes. The upper ground floor is home to a family room including two single beds and a bunk bed. On the same floor is the inviting open plan kitchen and dining area. A stunning wood-burning fireplace is at the centre of the living area, the perfect place for chatting with a glass of wine or watching some TV. There is also a balcony on this floor to appreciate the mountain views.

The lower ground floor houses two en-suite twin bedrooms and the wellness area. Here you can find a smart sunken hot tub, a sauna, and a rain shower so you can indulge in some self-care. On the second floor there are two double bedrooms each with their own en-suite shower. Both these bed rooms share a single WC. All the bedrooms are comfortable and come equipped with TV.

The price shown for this chalet includes a 'contactless catering' service: As well as the rental of the chalet your food and drink for the week is provided and your cupboards and fridge stocked for your arrival. Included will be breakfast, snacks to take with you skiing, afternoon tea and cakes/snacks, pre-dinner eats plus a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights (this also includes a selection of after dinner cheeses, plus champagne for your first night, a kir for before dinner and unlimited wine and some beers). A delicious menu for the week is pre-planned, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal. Resort staff will also visit your chalet mid-week to give it a full clean and change of towels and bed-linen. However, this is done during the day when you're out on the slopes.
