Chalet La Grande Sassiere

Chalet Grande Sassiere in Val d'Isere has arguably one of the most amazing sitting-dining rooms in Val d'Isere. The room itself is large and lovely with acres of parquet and panelling, massive roof beams but it's really all about the views which are simply stunning.

The chalet is around 12 minutes' walk into the centre of Val d'Isere, roughly halfway between La Daille and Val d'Isere, which is great if you wish to head in the direction of the slopes in Tignes. There is also a free shuttle bus stop just a few minutes' walk from the chalet.

There are six excellent bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The chalet also comes kitted out with a high-tech seven person hot tub on the huge private terrace.

The price shown for this chalet includes a 'contactless catering' service: As well as the rental of the chalet your food and drink for the week is provided and your cupboards and fridge stocked for your arrival. Included will be breakfast, snacks to take with you skiing, afternoon tea and cakes/snacks, pre-dinner eats plus a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights (this also includes a selection of after dinner cheeses, plus champagne for your first night, a kir for before dinner and unlimited wine and some beers). A delicious menu for the week is pre-planned, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal. Resort staff will also visit your chalet mid-week to give it a full clean and change of towels and bed-linen. However, this is done during the day when you're out on the slopes.
