Chalet Genevieve

Jenny Payne combined her experience and training from Leith's School of Food and Wine and many years of working for the Ski Club of Great Britain to launch Chalet Genevieve in Val d'Isere. As Jenny both owns and runs the chalet, she has filled it with many personal touches to ensure it has an authentic home away from home feel for all guests.

Located in at the foot of the Solaise slopes, Chalet Genevieve boasts an enviable ski in - ski out position and has spectacular views into the Manchet Valley.

Offering guests five spacious bedrooms (one with the capacity to take an extra bed), Genevieve is perfect for families wanting a quiet retreat where they will not be bothered by the hustle and bustle from the vibrant village atmosphere. There is also a most welcoming combined lounge and dining area which is the ideal place to relax after a hard day on the piste. However, if the limbs are a little on the sore side of things there is also a fabulous outdoor hot tub to revitalise in before settling in for a divine four course evening meal.

The chalet operates a no-smoking policy. Please note that your chalet hostess will cater for vegetarians but not vegans. This because it impacts the quality of meals produced for the other guests too much with the extra meals required.
