Chalet Davos

Chalet Davos in Val d'Isere is part of the Chalets Suisses, a small private hamlet designed and built on the secluded sun-drenched knoll of Le Crêt, one of the earliest and most charismatic enclaves of the resort. Four stone and slate chalets seek to fuse the ambience of an old stone village and traditional alpine decor with contemporary cutting-edge design and absolute comfort. To the smooth stone fireplaces, weathered oak floors and seasoned timbers, a veneer of cool contemporary styling has been added including designer bathrooms, discreet state-of-the-art lighting, wireless internet access and DVD plasma screens with cinema surround sound.

Each of the four chalets has been designed individually with scant regard for cost using antique furniture, the finest fabrics, handmade squashy sofas, goose down duvets and original art. Chalet Davos boasts a glorious sun-baked terrace, a breath-taking master bedroom suite with private terrace and a sunken hot tub with spectacular views.

The price shown for this chalet includes a 'contactless catering' service: As well as the rental of the chalet your food and drink for the week is provided and your cupboards and fridge stocked for your arrival. Included will be breakfast, snacks to take with you skiing, afternoon tea and cakes/snacks, pre-dinner eats plus a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights (this also includes a selection of after dinner cheeses, plus champagne for your first night, a kir for before dinner and unlimited wine and some beers). A delicious menu for the week is pre-planned, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal. Resort staff will also visit your chalet mid-week to give it a full clean and change of towels. However, this is done during the day when you're out on the slopes.
