Apartment Arolay 3

For those that have known Val d'Isere over a period of time may remember the popular L'Arolay restaurant in Le Fornet. This was the atmospheric and traditional restaurant serving delicious 'pierre-chaude' beef, raclettes, fondues and other local specialities. Sadly, the restaurant is no more as the building has been totally redeveloped and now offers smart, comfortable apartments.

Apartment Arolay 3 is on the upper floors of the building and offers lovely south facing views over the rushing Isere River which flows through Le Fornet, bisecting the village into two halves either side of the valley. The lower floor of the property offers the indoor spa area with sauna and hot tub as well as four en-suite guest bedrooms. The upper floor with its vaulted ceiling and large glazing is dedicated to the open plan kitchen, dining and living area with glass-fronted fireplace.

Access to the famous Val d'Isere ski area is easy. The Le Fornet cable car station is an easy walk away. However, reaching other main lifts or the resort centre is easily done via the free resort shuttle bus service which stops close by. This is the start of the bus line so there is always an empty bus to get onto.
