Chalet 206 Choucas in Val d'Isere offers 87 square metres of comfortable living space as well as a balcony. This gorgeous chalet apartment belongs to the new Les Choucas residence right in the centre of Val d'Isere, just off the main street and a short walk to many of the world class amenities this fantastic resort has to offer. Although this is in the centre of town, the residence is actually located well back from the main road so problems with noise pollution are averted. The piste is just a short walk away, but being near the centre of town gives guests the option of starting their ski day from either La Daille or Fornet at opposite ends of Val d'Isere, simply take the frequent resort bus in either direction and 5 minutes later you will have reached your destination.

As you can see by the photos above, this property is finished to a much higher standard than your average chalet-apartment, the reason being because Les Choucas was actually developed by an experienced Parisian developer who has many prestigious chalets & apartment buildings under his belt! As one would expect from such an experienced developer, the building has been finished with the use of stylish, high spec. fixtures & fittings. This 2nd floor apartment is decorated to a high standard making the most of the Alpine setting with Ralph Lauren fabrics throughout. Parking is available in the basement for 1 vehicle, and the ski locker is located on the ground floor. Should your party have 2 or more cars, Val d'Isere has a couple of car parks you can use for the week for a reasonable charge.

On entering the apartment, your ski jackets and clothing can be tucked away in a cupboard to your right. A couple of steps further and it opens out to the main room, which of course is open plan to maximise space for the living/kitchen & dining areas.

The living area offers very comfortable seating with 2 attractive sofas and armchairs, a flat screen TV, full UK SKY satellite, French channels, DVD player, stereo and Wi-Fi internet connection. Just off the sitting room is the balcony with a small table & chairs, perfect for enjoying a nice cold drink in the Spring sunshine, and perhaps a hot chocolate in the colder months! A desk is provided in the corner of the room for those who need to set aside some time for work or studying whilst on holiday.

Guests can also expect a beautifully appointed kitchen with a black stone work top, a full size oven with grill, 4 ring electric hob, separate microwave, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, washing machine and dryer (one machine), kettle & toaster.

Just in front of the kitchen is the dining area, which can comfortably seat 6 around the dining table.

Bedroom 1 is the master suite located off the main living room. This room offers plenty of comfort with a lovely queen sized bed, and a flat screen wall mounted TV with UK freesat channels. As this is the master bedroom, it does of course benefit from the all-important en-suite facilities including a full size bath with shower head (no screen to use as stand up shower), sink, wc and heated towel rail. The built in wardrobes and shelves offer ample storage.

Bedroom 2 is a nice twin bedroom with a wall mounted TV and UK freesat channels and a separate iPod docking station. In addition to the living room, this bedroom also benefits from its very own balcony. This room is serviced by a separate shower room with sink, wc and heated towel rail.

The third bedroom consists of bunk beds, and is ideal for children. This room is a small cabine and it doesn't have a window. The beds are a good size so could certainly sleep adults, the single beds measuring 80 cm x 200 cm. However there is a curtain in place instead of a door, which is one of reasons we recommend this room for the kids.
