Chalet Chez Xavi

The delightful Chez Xavi sits on a slightly elevated position overlooking the medieval centre of old Briancon. The hustle and bustle of the traditional old streets are just three minutes' walk from the chalet's front door and in less than 15 minutes' walk you can reach the main Prorel Gondola Station.

The designers have done a great job with Chez Xavi. It is most definitely modern but it still exudes that old chalet charm with lots of use of wood panelling and other features. Somehow the metal staircase and balustrade on the landing level works in harmony with the birch tree room divide in the sitting room below. It shouldn't...but it does.

If you are still feeling energetic after a day on the mountain there is a gym and also a games room. However, if relaxing is more your thing the chalet has its own sauna in the garden and an outdoor hot tub on the terrace. The views over the historic town centre and towards the main Serre Chevalier ski area are truly spectacular.

Chez Xavi can sleep up to 12 guests. There are actually seven bedrooms including one in the delightful separate mazot in the garden. However, it is proposed for guest comfort that only a maximum of 12 adults take the chalet.
