The Retreat

The Retreat is a sympathetic conversion of a 19th Century Savoyard farmhouse which combines rustic charm with more modern comforts. This large property sits on the edge of Montriond and offers easy access to the Ardent lift station for a convenient 'back door' entry into the huge Portes du Soleil area via Avoriaz.

The chalet has a spacious open plan sitting, dining and living room with welcoming open fireplace and wrap around balcony. Guests will enjoy the hot tub on the terrace and also the separate games/TV room on the ground floor. All the bedrooms can be configured as either twin or double rooms for maximum flexibility and one of the rooms also has an extra single bed for a child.

From exposed beams and stone walls to carefully chosen furnishings, every detail of the chalet reflects a deep appreciation for tradition and mountain living.

The chalet is also dog friendly and there are several lovely walks that you can take from the chalet. Your four-legged friend will be in 7th heaven.

The driver service will whisk guests to and from the Ardent lifts and back again in the afternoon. This is just a few minutes' drive away.
