Chalet Tataali

With stunning valley and forest views and the River Dranse flowing just metres below the site Chalet Tataali in Morzine enjoys a superb location. The owners' philosophy for the chalet was that it should be fun so that was the starting point for the entire design. They have tried to add lots of fun features around the chalet including a slide which descends two floors from the entrance level down to the children's games room. The idea for the climbing wall came from the project manager, so he has to take credit for that. To complete the playful touch there are monkey bars on the playroom ceiling and a swing over the pool (which is very Joan Collins). There’s even a table football and a pool table - everyone will surely be entertained.

There are seven bedrooms sleeping 14 with comfort. However, the chalet can take a couple of extra guests if needed. Rooms 1 and 2 form a separate suite which is useful for families with younger children using the bunk bedroom.

Chalet Tataali has a lovely, peaceful location between the centre of town and the beautiful nature reserves of the Vallée de la Manche. In good snow conditions intermediate skiers can ski from the property to the nearby cross country trail which leads gently down to the Nyon cable car station (500 metres away). Alternatively guests can take the chauffeured vehicle to the Nyon lift (1 minute drive) or to the Prodains Telepherique which is less than a 5 minute drive from the chalet (this accesses the high altitude skiing above Avoriaz).

Those who prefer to stretch their legs can stroll to the centre of resort using the groomed riverside path which winds its way through the trees.

In case you were wondering, the name 'Tataali' is Arabic for 'cascade' reflecting the cascading of the river which runs just a few metres below the chalet and can be heard from most of our rooms. This 1st class alpine property offers over 1,000 square metres of living space across 4 floors.
