Chalet Cairn Lodge

The Cairn Lodge in Morzine is a new ski chalet with seven bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests. The chalet is a 7-10 minute walk to the 'Dixie Bar' end of town where there is a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. It is well placed for accessing Avoriaz, via Prodains, and also the Morzine-Les Gets ski area via Pleney Telecabine. More specifically, the chalet is situated on the road leading out of Morzine towards Prodain Telecabine. In terms of travelling to the lifts, guest will have two options. First of all there is a complimentary morning drop off and afternoon pick up mini-bus service for guests of the chalet. Alternatively, the chalet is also on the free ski bus route which is runs a regular schedule of coming by every 5 minutes or so. This makes it incredibly convenient for those guests wishing a late start or an early finish to their ski day.

The Cairn Lodge has seven bedrooms and the variety of room types make this one perfect for families. The layout consists of two family en-suite rooms with balconies, located at the front of the chalet and sleeping between 2-4 people, there are three en-suite twin/doubles, one en-suite twin/double with balcony looking towards Avoriaz and finally a bunkbed room, ideal for children or teenagers or for single guests as there is no single supplement.

Guests can enjoys fantastic views over Morzine from the open plan dining /sitting room, and there are plenty of comfy sofas centred around a wood burning stove - a perfect place to unwind after a day in the Portes Du Soleil. French patio doors open out onto the sun terrace, which also houses the all-important hot tub. The garage downstairs has been converted into a games room making it ideal for families and large groups with additional sofas, TV and DVD player and a table tennis table.

There is also a sauna/relaxation room with space for a massage table. Heated boot racks ensure toasty toes in the mornings and there are racks for boards and skis.
