Chalet Atlas

The Chalet Atlas is one of the largest catered chalets in Morzine. Comfortably sleeping 20 guests in 10 en-suite bedrooms this traditional property is perfect for larger groups.

The Super Morzine gondola station is approximately 7 minutes' walk from the chalet and the centre of resort just a little further on. Its location is within 20 metres of a great hotel bar, 50m to the supermarket for any supplies, 150m from the bus stop and 500m from Super Morzine lift with direct access to the Portes du Soleil and the free 'Petit Tram' which takes you directly to the Pleney ski lift within minutes.

Notwithstanding the 10 en-suite bedrooms there is also an indoor sauna, outdoor hot tub, two sitting room areas with open fireplaces and large balconies. However, the best things about the Chalet Atlas are the delicious food and the in-resort service - both of which are of a high standard.

The chalet has a resident professional chef and the quality of catering is taken very seriously. Here is an extract from their own website: "We want to bring out the flavours in ingredients, we want you to know that we care about what goes on your plate, we do not cook for egos, we cook for you. The snow can be perfect, the weather incredible and the pistes quiet but if the food is found lacking your holiday will be lesser for it. The Atlas Lodge staff will not let that happen."

The chalet offers a resort shuttle service which has proved very popular with guests and allows easy access to Avoriaz with drop offs at Prodain & Ardent lifts, as well as post-apres pick ups before dinner service. There is also a bus stop at the end of the road (two minutes' walk) and the free bus will take you to Morzine centre or up the valley to the Prodains cable car station, giving very easy access to the Avoriaz ski area.
