Chalet Evidence

Chalet Evidence is a luxurious property set at 1,540 metres altitude in the charming hamlet of Le Chatelard (near La Rosiere). For clients seeking a high level of comfort & service with a tranquil location yet all at a reasonable price then the Chalet Evidence is for you. Recently completed this smart chalet has a luxury spa on the lower floor with pool (with swim jet), waterfall feature, relaxation area and treatment room. Please note any children using the swimming pool must be supervised by an adult. On this floor are also the three comfortable guest bedrooms and a cinema room with large screen which can be converted into an extra bedroom sleeping up to four children.

Guests have their own sitting room and kitchenette area with tea & coffee making facilities. On the upper floor of the chalet there is the main dining room and main kitchen where your hosts prepare breakfasts and dinners (note extra charge for dinners). The owners of the chalet (Colette and her husband) live on the top floor of the chalet and are on-hand to look after their guests.

If you wish to dine in the chalet (40 euros per adult and 25 euros per child) Colette will prepare a table d'hote French cuisine evening meal - think family style meals with tasty local dishes. If you prefer a more refined approach to your gastronomy a local professional Italian chef can be arranged to prepare haute cuisine dining. House wines are included in the cost (half bottle per adult per night) but there is a superior wine list available with high quality wines available for extra (at cost) price.

The driver service is very much one of the highlights for keen skiers. This will take guests in a 7-seat luxury 4x4 minivan (Mercedes V Class with leather seats and A/C) to any of the local resorts and back again. La Rosiere, Ste Foy, Les Arcs, Tignes and Val d'Isere are all easily reached. Skiers looking for a ski safari experience will find this chalet ideal. The driver service is charged extra at an approximate cost of 35 euros per direction. ie a daily return jourrney for up to 7 passengers = 70 euros. If there are more than 7 guests an extra vehicle can be used (again the cost is approximately 35 euros per direction).

The south facing views from the property across the main valley are stunning, and the chalet is filled with lots of sparkling mountain sunlight, especially in the warmer weeks of March and April.

Although keen skiers looking to explore the Tarentaise Valley will appreciate the availability of the driver service the Chalet Evidence is also suitable for groups with young children. Your chalet host, Colette, is a nanny and can provide all day childcare if required. There are also local childcare staff available if required.
