Chalet Edelweiss

The Chalet Edelweiss in Alpe d'Huez is a homely chalet which offers guests fabulous panoramic views, a roaring log fire and a pine clad sauna. It is ideally situated behind a blue run behind that runs down to the Les Bergers area. This is where the ski school meets and where there is also a small commercial centre.

There is a bus that stops 50 metres from the chalet and will take guests to the main resort centre which is approximately one mile away. Please note, beginners will have to catch the bus to the ski school meeting point each day until they are confident enough to ski on blue runs.

The price shown for this chalet includes a 'contactless catering' service: As well as the rental of the chalet your food and drink for the week is provided and your cupboards and fridge stocked for your arrival. Included will be breakfast, snacks to take with you skiing, afternoon tea and cakes/snacks, pre-dinner eats plus a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights (this also includes a selection of after dinner cheeses, plus champagne for your first night, a kir for before dinner and unlimited wine and some beers). A delicious menu for the week is pre-planned, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal. Resort staff will also visit your chalet mid-week to give it a full clean and change of towels. However, this is done during the day when you're out on the slopes.
