Chalet 1860

Chalet 1860 is located directly on the ski slopes in an area of Alpe d'Huez known as L'Altiport. Here all the chalets are ski-in, ski-out for easiest access to and from the skiing. This exclusive area is quiet at night. However, you are only 500m from the bustling centre of the Alpe d'Huez main resort, where numerous bars restaurants and boutiques can be found, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema.

The chalet is a short walk from the commercial centre of Les Bergers, where you will find the ski hire shops as well as the lifts and ski school meeting point. If you can't ski down to the lifts there is a free local bus service from the chalet.

The Chalet 1860 is furnished in a traditional Savoyarde style with a large fireplace, wood and stone interiors and rich colours giving the rooms a warm feel. There is plenty of space in all of the rooms, with a large open-plan living area with a fireplace and satellite television.

An American style kitchen with all the modern amenities, including hotplates, an oven and a microwave oven, a dishwasher, extractor fan and fridge, plus all crockery and pans, allows guests to cook and eat as and when they want. The chalets offer guests total comfort and space, sleeping up to 12 people. Furthermore, there is a large private terrace providing panoramic views of the mountains plus a private steam room in which to unwind.
