Chalet Zoller

Chalet Zoller is not in St Anton but in the nearby village of St Jakob. The closest lift in Nasserein is about 1km away. The chalet is a classic old Austrian "Haus" with traditional ornaments throughout. The ski bus that stops outside the chalet takes you to the lifts in a few minutes. The bedrooms are spacious and all bathrooms have been renovated. Chalet Zoller reflects an authentic Austrian atmosphere. In the basement of the chalet there is a sauna to sooth aching limbs.

There is no ski storage in the chalet. However, the operator have negotiated a deal with the ski shop by the lifts so that guests can leave equipment there overnight.

NB: This chalet is operated by a Dutch tour operator, who have been in the catered ski chalet business since 1977, operating 37 ski chalets in France, Austria and Italy.

The main difference between a 'normal' British-run chalet, which you will be familiar with, and the Dutch product is that afternoon tea and cakes are not included. However, house wine, beers, soft drinks, and tea and coffee are available and are included in the cost of your holiday.

Breakfasts will be continental in style with cheese, hams and bread, yogurt and fruit juices, tea and coffee.

Below are examples of typical evening dinners:

Starter: Basil bruschetta with fresh tomato and mozzarella.
Main: Meat loaf with roasted onions, mushrooms and tomatoes, pomme gratin, salad with red onion, cucumber, feta and olives.
Pud: Poached pears with chocolate mousse.

Or

Starter: Giant mushrooms stuffed with bacon and bleu d'Auvergne served with a warm 'Morzinoise' roll.
Main: Braised cod with a mustard cream sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted winter vegetables.
Pud: Warm pear apple crumb pie with ice cream.

Afternoon tea and cakes are not included in the cost of the holiday. If you would like to have afternoon tea and cakes you can pay a small supplement. Please call for details.
