The festival also embraces its Austrian location, with traditional cultural references including oompah bands, lederhosen and lots of sausages!
The event is also known for giving ‘Snowbombers’ an alternative to flying – the famous Snowbombing Road Trip encourages attendees to drive to the festival, involving collection points en-route, an overnight stay in Frankfurt and a procession on arrival in Mayrhofen, which marks the official opening of the festival.
