Overview
The Hotel Oswald in Selva has held its commanding location near the resort centre since the Nineteenth Century when Selva was a huge destination for summer tourism in the Dolomites. In 1929 it opened for winter holidays, with the birth of skiing as a recreational alpine sport. In the 1960's the hotel fell into financial difficulties and was not fully re-opened again until the end of the 1970's when other local hotel owners formed a company to take over the hotel. Since the early 1980's the Hotel Oswald has been renovated three times so that today it's a comfortable 4 star hotel which combines its 100+ year old history with modern living standards.
The Gold bar is the heart of the hotel where the head barman will mix up a cocktail for you. The atmospheric dining room is renowned for serving up a good quality of cuisine.
There is also a conference room which can accommodate 15 to 45 delegates, depending on the seating arrangement. This is equipped with internet connection, DVD player, screen with overhead projector, multimedia wall and flip chart.
Great value and situated near the centre of Selva.
