Overview
The luxury 5 star hotel, Le Kaila, is the latest establishment offered by the hugely experienced hotelier Dallery family in Meribel. All the bedrooms are spacious (from 'Elegance' rooms of 25 square metres right up to the exceptional 115 square metre 'Kaila' suite which has two bedrooms, a kitchen and sitting/dining room).
The decor of the hotel effortlessly combines local building materials of wood and stone with modern day refinement. The effect is to offer guests the truly cosseting experience of 'cosy chic'.
The hotel's kitchen is run by Mickael Mibord and the cuisine is authentic to the area but served with a special touch. The dining room has space for 70 diners.
The children's facilities are very good and their entertainment programme caters for ages from 3 - 15 years old. From play-cooking and jewellery making to lessons on how to 'mix' with famous DJs.
This is a very cosy, elegant and sophisticated place to stay - we would go as far to say, Meribel's best place to stay. Lots of wood, subdued lighting and thick carpets everywhere -exactly as one would want a ski hotel to be. The bar area with its log fire is a great place to relax after dinner.
