Overview
Meribel has always lacked a truly first class hotel. Now suddenly two come along at once! The first of the new luxury hotels to open was the Hotel L'Helios (the other being the Le Kaila which opened in December 2012). With only 18 rooms and suites the L'Helios has the intimate atmosphere of a boutique hotel - the lovely bar serves impeccably made cocktails. The service is attentive and the decor of the hotel luxurious.
The position is fantastic with just a short ski down to the main lift station in the morning and with a ski room that is easily accessed directly from the slopes in the afternoon. The centre of the resort is just a short stroll away and the views across the valley from the hotel's elevated position are magnificent.
Amazing location as The L'Helios is ski-in ski-out and close to the centre of town. New, contemporary boutique hotel with wonderful bedrooms and superb lounge and bar area.
