Overview
The Hotel Christiania in Les Gets has a perfect position within this pretty resort. Shopping and dining out could not be more accessible and the cosy hotel bar with its roaring log fire provides an excellent opportunity to relax in the evenings. However, best of all is that the main lifts are about 50 metres away and it's possible to ski back to the hotel's front door at the end of the day.
All bedrooms are comfortable and have either bath or shower in addition to direct dial telephones and TV's. Several are well suited to families with additional beds. The hotels extra facilities include a heated ski and boot room, TV lounge area, kids play room and sauna. There are 2 outdoor hot tubs - what better way to ease those aches and pains after a hard days skiing?
The Hotel Christiania is Scottish owned and staffed with British workers. Although a proper hotel with more than decent food and a high level of personal service the atmosphere here is relaxed and social. The hotel bar and lounge area with the roaring log fireplace is a great place to enjoy a couple of pre-dinner drinks and the large projector screen is pulled down for the RBS Six Nations matches in February. There are smarter and more luxurious hotels in Les Gets but the Hotel Christiania is the one we recommend.

Facilities
Excellent childcare and nanny service (4 months - 2 years). Creche/nanny care starts at 08.30 and finishes at 17.30. You can either take full day, morning or afternoon care. There is also an afternoon club for children aged 7 - 18 years during the peak weeks. There is also an afternoon club on the slopes for those children that have morning lessons but want to carry on skiing (minimum standard is ESF 3 star)
