Ski Holidays from Ireland

Ski holidays from Ireland - wide choice of resorts, chalets and hotels

Each winter approximately 50,000 skiers and snowboarders book ski holidays from Ireland to the Alps. There are several tour operators that offer packaged ski holidays from both the Republic and Northern Ireland to the ski resorts of France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. For hotel based holidays Crystal Ski, Topflight, Club Med and Directski offer flights from Dublin, whereas Inghams and Ski McNeil offer itineraries originating from Belfast. For catered chalets both Ski Beat (owned by Directski) and Highlife have a range of catered chalets in the French Alps (Val d'Isere, Meribel, La Tania, La Plagne and Morzine).

Although these companies offer a good selection of chalets and hotels there is a far, far wider choice of properties available to Irish skiers if they book through a specialist chalet broker/tour operator such as Alpine Answers. We have access to a huge selection of hotels and work with over 150 different chalet companies, all with their unique product offering.

Luxury ski holidays from Ireland

If you are a skier from Ireland looking for a truly luxurious ski holiday you might like to piece together your own holiday by booking flights, transfers and accommodation all separately. This is fine so long as, a) you know exactly where and what to book, and b) you are happy to take on the financial risks of booking without the protection offered by an ATOL bonded travel company.

Alternatively you could contact Alpine Answers. We give advice on all the European ski resorts and have a huge range of properties (over 1,250 chalets and hundreds of hotels). All our package holidays are financially protected and along with our independent advice you can also enjoy a free and professional booking service and quality after sales care.

Ski holidays from Ireland – luxury catered chalets

We have approximately 700 luxury catered chalets located in the best resorts of the Alps which are sold on a ‘chalet only’ basis (ie without travel). However, by using our ATOL licence we can buy in flights from either Belfast or Dublin on your behalf and to these we can add private taxi transfers for your party. This means you can travel in style on a scheduled flight and then find your driver ready and waiting for you in the arrivals hall – in no time at all you will be on the road and on your way to resort.
