Ski Holidays in Austria
One of the stand out features of a ski holiday in Austria is après ski. The Austrians certainly have a march on how to provide a fun-filled atmosphere after a hard day on the slopes. They simply know how to let their hair down and in every Austrian resort you will find lively bars with free flowing beer and of course traditional Austrian music. Traditional 'oompah' band or Euro power ballard - what's your choice? Just be warned, it's so easy to get carried away with the après ski scene that dinner is often forgotten about.

Most Austrian ski areas are interconnected and as a result offer some of the biggest ski regions in the Alps. One such region is the Arlberg, and in particular the resort of St Anton. Here you will find an international crowd who travel from around the world for the superb skiing (both on and off-piste) as well as the lively après ski and party atmosphere which thumps well into the small hours each night.
Although the après ski scene is a big plus there is so much more to skiing in Austria. We love the welcoming and atmospheric mountain restaurants, excellent accommodation standards, traditional 'easy on the eye' resorts and of course the "Gemutlichkeit" - good old fashioned Austrian hospitality.
