Chalet Rosa

Chalet Rosa, in a peaceful location in Fiss, was newly built in the summer of 2010 and so is in fantastic shape. This is the operators most ideal execution of their catered chalets and focused on great space for socialising including a large sun terrace.

The chalet is styled in modern Austrian furnishings, lots of wooden accents can be found throughout, giving the chalet a comforting atmosphere. From the living area and sun terrace you can truly soak in the magnificent views Fiss has to offer. Chalet Rosa can accommodate up to 18 guests in 6 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. After enjoying the snow and fresh air, you can find the traditional sauna to warm and relax you.

NB: This chalet is operated by a Dutch tour operator, who have been in the catered ski chalet business since 1977, operating 37 ski chalets in France, Austria and Italy.

The main difference between a 'normal' British-run chalet, which you will be familiar with, and the Dutch product is that afternoon tea and cakes are not included. However, house wine, beers, soft drinks, and tea and coffee are available and are included in the cost of your holiday.

Breakfasts will be continental in style with cheese, hams and bread, yogurt and fruit juices, tea and coffee.

Below are examples of typical evening dinners:

Starter: Basil bruschetta with fresh tomato and mozzarella.
Main: Meat loaf with roasted onions, mushrooms and tomatoes, pomme gratin, salad with red onion, cucumber, feta and olives.
Pud: Poached pears with chocolate mousse.

Or

Starter: Giant mushrooms stuffed with bacon and bleu 'dAuvergne served with a warm 'Morzinoise' roll.
Main: Braised cod with a mustard cream sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted winter vegetables.
Pud: Warm pear apple crumb pie with ice cream.

Afternoon tea and cakes are not included in the cost of the holiday. If you would like to have afternoon tea and cakes you can pay a small supplement. Please call for details.
