April Ski Deals

Chalet deals April

Chalet ski deals for April are perfect for a late season Easter ski holiday. We have a fantastic collection of catered chalets in the best high altitude, snow-sure resorts of the Alps.

April is a fabulous time to go skiing - the sun can be blisteringly hot (make sure you wear lots of high factor skin protection) and long lunches on the terrace are de rigueur. You don't have to ski in your swim-suit but a lightweight jacket with one or two under layers will be all you need on most days. If you are a confident skier then April is the time to 'ski tour' into the back country. If you haven't tried it already then we strongly recommend you book a mountain guide and give it a go. There is nothing finer than 'skinning' up and away from the masses to enjoy your own private mountain experience. Skiing on spring snow is really very easy (if you get the timing right) and therefore a wonderful off-piste experience can be enjoyed by the whole family.

If you thought things couldn't get better then think again. Ski holiday companies with chalets and chalet hotels sometimes find that they have to reduce the price of their holidays in order to sell the remaining beds and flight seats that they are committed to. Typically each company might have one or two properties that for whatever reason have not sold earlier. Whereas that sounds like there is not much choice when you add all the available chalets and chalet hotels together on our website then there is actually more than enough choice available - and nearly all of it at reduced prices.

Late deal prices and availability on this site

Please note that although we keep our site up to date with availability and prices this is not a 'live' system. With the late sales market moving very quickly you should always call us to get the latest best deals. By all means send us an email enquiry and we will get back to you within a few hours. However, the best advice we can give you is to telephone us and speak to one of our team. We are very approachable and would be delighted to hear from you. Everyone in the office is an avid skier or boarder and apart from being very jealous that you are about to go away skiing whilst we are here in London we would love to hear from you.

Smaller group sizes

If you are a small group of 2 - 4 people it is much more cost effective for you to book a ski holiday that includes flights and transfers as a package and share a chalet property with other guests. To find these properties select the options 'share' and with 'flights and transfers' (found in the travel section).

Discounted catered chalets that are booked without travel

If you want to book a chalet that is sold without travel that is fine too. However, please note that we (or you) would need to buy in flights and a taxi transfer to get you to resort. With the average cost of a taxi to most resorts being £700 - £850 return the cost of travel per person starts to get expensive. With a group of 6 - 8 people a private taxi becomes much more cost effective. The vehicle of choice for nearly every taxi company in the Alps is either the VW Caravelle or the Mercedes Viano, both of which can take up to 8 passengers.
